Our acting classes are designed to help students explore performance in a fun, encouraging environment while developing the techniques needed for stage, television and film acting.
Whether your child is completely new to acting or already has performance experience, our classes provide an opportunity to build confidence, develop acting ability and discover their potential.
Acting on Camera & Film
Performing for a camera is very different from performing on stage. Our Acting on Camera and Film classes in Warrington introduce students to the skills and techniques required when performing for television, film and other screen-based productions. Students can learn how to:
- Perform naturally and confidently in front of a camera
- Understand camera angles and positioning
- Deliver lines realistically
- Develop believable characters
- Use facial expressions and subtle physical acting
- Take direction and respond to feedback
- Perform scenes and scripts for camera
- Build confidence during auditions and screen tests
Acting on camera can be a fantastic way for young performers to understand how professional screen acting works while developing skills that can complement their wider drama training.
Drama Classes for Aspiring Performers
Our drama classes in Warrington give students the opportunity to develop their acting skills through practical exercises, improvisation, character development, script work and performance.
Drama training can help children and young people become more confident communicators while encouraging creativity, imagination and teamwork.
Students can work on a variety of acting techniques and performance styles, helping them become more versatile performers and develop their own individual approach to acting.
LAMDA Acting Exams
FAME Creative Talent will also be offering LAMDA acting examinations, providing students with the opportunity to work towards recognised qualifications in acting and performance.
LAMDA exams can help students develop their ability to interpret scripts, communicate effectively and perform with confidence. Preparing for an examination also gives students a clear goal to work towards and can be a valuable addition to their performing arts journey.
Our training can help students prepare for their chosen LAMDA examination while developing the performance skills and confidence required to present their work successfully.
Develop Confidence Through Acting
Acting is about much more than learning lines. It encourages young people to communicate, listen, collaborate and express themselves creatively.
Through regular drama and acting training, students can develop:
- Confidence and self-expression
- Communication skills
- Creativity and imagination
- Characterisation skills
- Voice and performance techniques
- Teamwork and listening skills
- Audition and performance confidence
- The ability to take direction
These skills can benefit students both on and off the stage.
